Sitang and Dan were married at Dundee Registrar's and then had their reception in Glasgow at the See Woo Chinese restaurant where over 300 guests attended. Sitang had four dress changes and looked stunning in them all.
I was asked to photograph the African Praise Gospel Concert in the Caird Hall, Dundee. It was a colourful evening and gave me the opportunity to get some great images. The cast performed a play about Dundee's Mary Slessor.
A competition in aid of charity was held where the winners were treated to full make-up and hair and a photoshoot with lunch and champagne donated by the Malmaison Hotel, Dundee. Here are the results of the photoshoot ...
I was asked to photograph a couple of girls getting ready for their school leaving ball. They looked stunning I think !
Vinesh and Ashini were married on board the Unicorn, Dundee. Sadly it was raining hard the whole day making it difficult to go outside for photographs. When we did go out someone had to hide behind Ashini holding her dress out of the puddles while I quickly tried to get some images. After we took some photographs of them in traditional Scottish outfits they got changed into Asian wedding dress and we went back outside for another shoot.
I went to Torridon for a short mountain bike holiday and had hoped to do some landscape photography while I was there. Sadly, the weather was so bad I only cycled to the shops and back and the rain was so bad I couldn't really get out and about with my camera. Only on the way home did the sun peep out and allowed me to stop here and there to shoot these images ...

We had a photoshoot at Broughty Ferry Rock Gardens with new model Louise.
I took this image on my mobile phone of the solar eclipse over Broughty Ferry Castle, Dundee. I got exactly what I expeted as without a ND filter the sun is way too bright to capture. However, when I looked closely I could see the eclipse at the top of the castle. This is just a artifact from within the lens and I've since learned that just about every photo taken of the eclipse on a phone has rusulted in someting similar. I was just lucky that mine wasn't lost in the sky and even luckier it was right on the castle. I posted this photo on facebook and it was shared nearly a hundred times and viewed and commented on by hundreds.
Here is the front cover of International Magazine EMAL using my image of model Elaine Harris. This publication is available in America, Dubai, Norway, Canada and Pakistan.
There is also an 18 page spread inside using all my images.

A bit of a break from weddings this week when Tim and Aileen from the Puppet Gang asked me to take some promotional photographs. Great fun and the bubbles look amazing.
It was a dull and overcast February day for Lauren and David's wedding at Fingask Castle. A pity, because the whole wedding party had come from Yorkshire and no one had been in Scotland before. However, Lauren and her bridesmaids were great fun to work with and we got some fantastic images in the grounds of the stunning castle.
I won a best of the year 2014 award in the Buildings and Architecture category with my photo of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
Model Elaine Harris got a feature in the Broughty Ferry Spotlight and used my images. She told the story of how I asked her to model for my brochure, she entered the photo in a competition, it won and from there her career as a successful model has blossomed.

It's always nice to get some appreciation and I got a mention in D. C. Thomson's Weekly News after a reader wrote in saying how much she liked the photographs
I had an emergency phone call to attend this wedding where the photographer had not turned up. I was there within the hour ... The colours and costumes were amazing and I had a fantastic meal in between taking photos.
Despite the torrential rain for most of the day we still managed to achieve some great images in the short spaces between the downpours at the fabulous Harburn House in West Lothian. Bridal wear and Jewellery were provided by Eli Couture; Hair by Mandy Breen at Hair Ups, Dundee and Makeup by Yeekee Chau (Manifique Nails-Beauty)
These prints are available to purchase from Kat's Pyjamas, Gray Stree, Broughty Ferry, Dundee
Here are some test shots I did for McArta Shoes. A new brand that is being sold exclusively (I believe) in the Keillor Centre, Dundee.
I took this photograph when doing Portrait Sessions. I spent about 10 minutes airbrushing it in Photoshop but I think the results are pretty stunning.
A friend of mine who has recently taken up painting asked if I had any photos he could experiment with as subjects for his paintings. He did this watercolour from a photo I took with my phone while out on my bike. Pretty good uh?
This photograph was taken at the Fort William Downhill Racing Championships and entered into a competition. I won First Prize of a Trek mountain bike worth £1500. Cool.
